Hultafors AB PR series tape measures are made of durable steel and coated with a matt yellow polyester lacquer. The scale is printed on one side of the tape measure in the metric scale using a highly accurate inkjet print technique. The case is made of ABS plastic and has a rubber-coated button and a brake pad. The bottom of the case is flat in order to facilitate internal measurements. When you pull the tape, it runs smoothly and quietly, and glides back in. The break pad immediately stops the tape to obtain the most accurate measurement result. The reel mechanism is equipped with a silencer and a locking device. The scale starts immediately at the end fitting – on the inner side for external measurements and on the outer side for internal measurements. When working at great heights, the tape measure has a metal hook which can be used to fasten a safety rope, and a securing clamp to fasten it to a belt.
